Kathleen Gleason is recognized as a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Supervisor for LPC Interns by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors. She also holds several certifications which include:

EDUCATION
Kathleen completed her graduate work at Texas A & M University-Commerce, with a Master of Science Degree in Counseling & Guidance. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education with a Minor in Sociology from Southern Methodist University, Dallas.
EMPLOYMENT
Ms. Gleason has enjoyed a diverse employment history prior to her current position with Boerne Counseling.
Kathleen chose an opportunity to counsel with clients at Oak Lawn Community Services. There she counseled with individuals, facilitated groups and co-facilitated an intensive, out-patient substance abuse treatment program.
Prior to her experience as a clinical therapist, Kathleen taught grades first-sixth with the Dallas Independent School District, where she served as team leader and co-authored the school improvement program.
She was also employed with a home health care agency, when she served the elderly and disabled throughout the 19 county DFW metroplex. One of the projects she developed was the co-ordination of a state pilot study that enabled clients to remain living in their homes as opposed to nursing home care.
